I went to eat with my family on Saturday. I had a great meal here. The restaurant has a cozy and warm atmosphere. I miss the taste of my hometown so much. I will recommend it to my friends. The best vegetarian restaurant I have ever eaten at the recommendation of my relative when I came to America.

We tried several dishes from the menu and ate it family style. The dishes were very tasty, and their mock chicken dish was good. The whole table loved the spring rolls. I would definitely go back to try more of the menu. Everything looked very tasty.

I'm of mixed minds about this place. I've been going there for maybe 25 years. At one point I considered them very committed to veganism and Buddhist thinking. Now the only literature was only in Vietnamese.
The food is normally quite good at a fair price.
But recently I was served an entree that was incomplete where mushrooms and tofu became 2 mushroom slices and one small cube of tofu mixed with some flavorless cabbage.
The service on the other hand has its ups and downs.
There are nice tables and the place is clean.
Most of the staff is very nice but the pushy attitude of those in charge has the charm of a bus station and the personality of a diaper change.
This is the kind of place that is picking up chairs and mopping around you as you are told to hurry up and finish. I would not take a date there late evening.
Today we ordered online only to arrive and be told that they don't start making the food until you have paid the bill. That led to a 45 minute wait.

This place was fantastic. Pricing was incredibly reasonable and the food was fresh and delicious. I'm always skeptical of vegeterian spots because a lot of times they will substitute it with really processed food or it's oily. In this case it was neither. Highly recommend going here. Staff was super friendly as well.

In the culinary experience of this restaurant, I savored a delightful clay pot fried rice and noodle dish—an exquisite mix of flavors that danced upon my takeout palate. The man at the front, exuding warmth and friendliness, set the stage for a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Was here twice for lunch, both on the weekends. I'm not a vegan, but loved this place! The staff were very welcoming, and service was great on both occasions. Also, I found the pricing to be very reasonable for the flavors and amount of food!

On our first visit, my vegetarian GF introduced me to this place, and we ordered the Mushu Mushu Wrap, Crispy Chow Mein, Spicy Ginger Soy Perfection and a protein rice place with egg cake (can't remember the name). Everything was absolutley delicious and so flavorable. We had lots of leftovers too! The only thing I wasn't feeling was the Spicy Ginger Soy Perfection because the protein had a sweet like glaze which reminded me of "sweet & sour", and I'm not a fan of that flavor. However, one of the staff was having his lunch, stopped by and and said to try his version of his no glaze, and I love it! That was so sweet of him to offer.

On my second visit, I took another GF, and we ordered again the Mushu Mushu Wrap, Crispy Chow Mein, but also the Curry Vegetable and Queen (Carmelized Chicken). Unfortunately, the Crispy Chow Mein didn't deliver like it did the first time. It was too crunchy and the sauce lacked flavor. However, the Curry Veggies was super delicious and we used the sauce as a dip for the Mushu Mush Wraps! The Queen was equally good, and we both loved that too! My GF also ordered the Spicy Mongolian Delight to go for her husband, and he loved it too!

I've had vegan food before, but not often. This was such a great re-intro and experience, that I am now exploring other vegan restaurants.

The food here is AMAZING! All of the 6 dishes we ordered were excellent. I was not happy when someone said, "let's go to Golden Lotus, its all vegan." I was not happy, but after my 1st mouthful, I was hooked, every dish was delightful in taste, presentation, and price. I'm telling you now, vegan or not, you will love the food here. They need more than 5 stars ? ?. Don't miss out on this gem in Oakland.
