Obviously Harbor Freight and Tools is as well known as most other hardware oriented box stores. However, this is the NEWEST one here in Irvine and naturally I had to go experience the splendor. Just like any Irvine location this one is immaculate. Literally everything is in its place, perfectly. This store being brand new is no exception. It's gorgeous inside. You need anything from wrenches to wipes it's here for you. Myself, I used to have to travel over to the store on El Toro road by Laguna Hills Mall and depending on the time of day, traffic on the 5 freeway could be a little crazy. This one is here off of Barranca next to Staples and Jo Ann fabrics store. Plenty of parking too.

Meh, could have been better. I asked them on the phone if they had a "5 ton lever hoist". I even explained to the guy that it has a "lever" that you pull on, to lift the load. He says they have them, both in 3 ton and 5 ton models, well great! So I go over there, but they only have "chain falls" that actuate by pulling a chain. (Not the "lever" type) Friendly guy, but I guess he doesn't know or recognize the word "lever", that I expressed multiple times.

I purchased a floor jack and stand at the Lake Forest store. Then 2 days later I saw a coupon where I can save $30 on the floor jack. I went to the Irvine location to get my savings. I had the original receipt and coupon to show. I spoke with a supervisor - Jacob and told me I have to bring in the floor jack for the savings. I went home got the floor jack into car and this time went to the Lake Forest location. They gave me the savings but the cashier said to me that I didn't need to bring in the floor jack and all I needed was the receipt and coupon. I went home and called Irvine office and spoke with Jacob and explained what happened, he was being short, rude and giving me all different types of excuses and no apology. I will not ever go to Irvine Harbor Freight if long as Jacob is there.

We were there last month and generally all the staffs on the floor were very friendly and helpful! But it was not until we reached the cashier where this guy named Jacob ruined everything!!! He was rude and arrogant! He was not friendly at all and made us felt not welcomed there!! He had bad attitude and he acted like he didn’t care!! I rather go to other stores now where I don’t get mistreated!
